GENERAL CALL
The Journal of Authentic Leadership in Education (JALE) is an international publication dedicated to promoting and disseminating a broad range of scholarly inquiry relating to the areas of values and ethics and their relationship to theory and practice in educational leadership. Values and ethics remain a critically important direction for research into the practice of educational leadership, and we are prepared to consider a wide range of disciplined empirical and conceptual works of interest to both international scholars and practitioners in the field of education.

SPECIAL CALL: Emerging Voices in Authentic Leadership in Education

Are you a current student in a Masters or Doctoral program? JALE supports emerging scholars and as such we are hosting a Special Call just for you!
Currently, we are seeking articles by emerging scholars that promote: diversity, empathy, equity, inclusivity, justice and liberatory practices in education from a variety of contexts and across contexts. If your work connects to learning-focused, ethical leadership, and decision-making strategies and solutions, we are interested in hearing your voice and perspective. Sub-themes may include:

Education during challenging times;

Racial justice;

Remote learning, emerging media, technology, and generative AI in education;

Participatory cultures;

Local, national, and global perspectives;

Relationships and communities; and
-
Pressures from political interests.
We realize that your research may be in progress. This special call can provide you with an opportunity to share your work with the international education community. As such, your submission should include:
